Ned-Deck World Wide Service In 2009 Ned-Deck Marine has launched a worldwide service network of selected, trained and authorized service partners. More than 30 companies and 40 engineers have been authorized to service and maintain NDM equipment according to the latest rules and regulations. After 10 years of experience in the manufacturing of high quality, large range of davit and crane systems for the commercial shipping, naval- and offshore markets, Ned-Deck Marine has opened a new business unit to serve the luxury mega yacht market. The name of the business unit, which is now in full operation, is NDM – Yachting .
The aim for NDM – Yachting is to serve the full luxury mega yacht market with high quality (semi-) custom made yacht davit and crane systems. Most systems we offer can be built under SOLAS and all systems are designed and delivered with class society approval from the society desired by the customer.
Based on the customers needs and wishes, the systems NDM – Yachting offers to them, can be used for all kinds of purposes. In general the systems are mostly used for rescue purposes, tender handling, water scooter or jet-ski handling, stores handling, etcetera. The base materials for the davit and crane systems mainly consists of stainless steels and high strength aluminium alloys. Also for the future, we are looking to explore the use of glass reinforced fibres and carbon fibres. The operation of the systems can be managed electrically, hydraulically or a combination of both, depending on the customers desire.
