Ned-Deck Marine and Palfinger AG – a stronger position in the maritime industry
Ned-Deck Marine, leading manufacturer of high tech davit systems, has strengthened its position in the maritime industry with Palfinger AG, the leading international manufacturer of hydraulic lifting, loading and handling systems, which acquired a majority share within Ned-Deck Marine on July 16th 2010. This strategic partnership will enable customers to exploit the best of both companies’ core strengths in the marine, yachting, offshore and wind farm industry worldwide.

NDM Service Department
Knowledge, experience and trust are the key words describing NDM’s service department.
Our engineers are carefully selected and are constantly trained to maintain the highest level of service.

Through in-house training our engineers always operate according to the latest procedures and guidelines.
All NDM service engineers have had an extensive training in Solas operation, offshore safety and safety control - each certified to get the job done, both fast and safely – without comprising your operation.
Whenever new products and solutions are introduced, we will include our service engineers in the prototype and startup process in order to ensure their knowledge of the new systems.

To ensure that all our service engineers are fully trained in the installation, troubleshooting and operation of our systems we have made it policy that each engineer acquires both factory and field experience.
This gives them an extensive insight - resulting in quick trouble shooting and effective service.

Ned-Deck Marine’s engineers operate from two main locations; The Netherlands and Vietnam.
Our service engineers are trained in all Ned-Deck Marine systems. Main objective for level one systems is the local region and for level two and three systems world wide assistance is available.

In order to help our customers in keeping safety safe, NDM has a world wide and ever growing service network.
Through a thorough training program we have trained and authorized selected companies and engineers to ensure local assistance to our clients where possible.

NDM offers extensive advantages, support and assistance to our partners, thus ensuring high quality service to our customers.
Our partners have access to all the drawings, manuals, installation instructions and operation procedures of your specific NDM Product. Furthermore our network offers free access to the latest safety regulations (e.g. Solas), recommended practices and offers practical tips on maintaining your NDM safety product.
